Blown dust gets into a valley home through every opening and settles where nobody looks. First visit clears the backlog, then a schedule keeps it there.

Every home accumulates dust. Homes in this valley accumulate it faster, from a source that never runs out, and that changes what a cleaning visit is actually for.
Fine desert dust travels on wind and gets into a house through every opening: doors, windows, vents, and the gap under a slider that is packed with sand. It settles on horizontal surfaces, works into fabric, and coats the places nobody looks, like the tops of door frames, ceiling fan blades, high shelves, and the return vent of an air conditioning system that runs constantly for half the year.
That is why a first visit here is usually a deep clean rather than a maintenance one. There is a backlog, and it is in places routine cleaning never reaches. Once that backlog is dealt with, a regular schedule keeps a house genuinely clean rather than clean on the surfaces people happen to look at.
We also do a great deal of work in houses that nobody has been living in. A large share of valley property is seasonal, and a home closed through the summer sits collecting dust for months with the air still. Opening a house properly before the owner arrives is a specific kind of job, and it is not the same as a weekly clean.
We clean carpet, tile, stone, upholstery, and windows, which means a house clean can be combined with any of that in a single scheduled visit rather than arranged across four vendors on four different days. Sequencing matters when it is combined, and we plan the order so nothing finished gets walked over afterwards.
Rental turnovers are not flexible. Checkout is at one time, check-in is at another, and everything has to be finished inside that gap. Consistency is the thing that matters most, because a guest will notice the single item that was missed and remember nothing about the rest.
Every household has particular things they care about and things they do not. Some people want the kitchen immaculate and are relaxed about the guest room. Some have a surface that needs specific handling or products of their own they want used. Say so and it becomes part of how the visit runs rather than something we guess at.
In a valley home the HVAC system moves dusty air continuously through much of the year, and the filter is what stands between that and every surface in the house. Changing it on schedule does more for how dusty a home feels than almost anything that happens during a cleaning visit.
Different situations need genuinely different visits, not the same visit at different lengths.
Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly maintenance for an occupied home already in good order.
The full treatment, including everywhere routine cleaning does not reach.
A closed-up house brought back to ready before the owner arrives for the season.
Between-guest cleaning inside a fixed window, done the same way every time.
Empty property cleaning, which is the only time some things can properly be reached.
Fine construction dust after a remodel, which settles everywhere and keeps reappearing.
This is the general shape of a clean. The specific scope for your home is agreed before the first visit, and it is written down so both sides know what was agreed.
| Area | Regular clean | Added in a deep clean |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen | Counters, sink, exterior of appliances, cooktop, floors, bins | Inside oven, fridge, and microwave, cabinet fronts and tops, backsplash detail |
| Bathrooms | Toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, floors | Grout detail, hard water build-up, extractor vents, cabinet interiors |
| Bedrooms | Surfaces dusted, beds made or changed, floors | Under beds, headboards, high shelving, ceiling fans, vents |
| Living areas | Dusting, floors, tidying, glass surfaces | Baseboards, door frames, light fixtures, blinds, upholstery vacuumed |
| Throughout | Floors vacuumed and mopped, bins emptied | Interior window sills and tracks, switch plates, vent covers, door tops |

Laundry, dishes, organising, and interior wall washing are available but are not assumed. If you want them, say so when we agree the scope and they will be built into the visit rather than negotiated at the door.
Five stages. Most of the value is in the first one, because a scope agreed properly is what prevents every subsequent disagreement.
We look at the property, talk about what matters to you, note anything needing particular care, and agree what is included. That gets written down.
Entry arrangements, gate codes, alarm procedure, pets, and preferred days and times. For second homes and rentals this is the part that has to be right.
The backlog gets dealt with, including the places routine cleaning never reaches. This visit takes longer than the ones that follow, and it is what makes the recurring schedule work.
The agreed scope, done the same way each time. Consistency is the whole point of a recurring clean.
Households change. Guests arrive, a room stops being used, priorities shift. Tell us and we will change what the visit covers rather than leaving you with a service that no longer fits.
A large share of valley property is seasonal, and a house nobody is living in has its own set of problems. They are not the problems of a dirty house. They are the problems of a still one.
Fine dust finds its way in through vents, door seals, and slider tracks whether or not anyone is opening them. With still air and months of time it settles evenly across every horizontal surface, including inside cupboards and on top of everything at height. Opening a house that has been closed since April is a deep clean, not a wipe-down.
Fixtures unused for months hold standing water in traps and lines. Running every tap and flushing every toilet is a small thing that makes a real difference to how a house smells on arrival, and it is part of how we open a property rather than an afterthought.
Soft furnishings, bedding, and rugs pick up the stale note of a sealed house. Airing, vacuuming, and in some cases cleaning the upholstery is what removes it, rather than covering it with a scent that fades in a day.
Opening houses means we are frequently the first people inside in months. If there are signs of a leak, pest activity, or anything else that needs attention, you hear about it immediately with photographs. For an owner who is still out of state, that call is often the most valuable part of the visit.
House cleaning is quoted after a walkthrough, because two houses of identical size can be very different visits.
If your carpet, tile, stone, upholstery, or windows also need attention, it is worth doing them in the same scheduled visit. One company, one appointment, and the floors get done in an order that means nothing finished gets walked over afterwards. Mention it when we scope the job.

Tell us the size of the property and whether you want a one-time clean or a regular schedule. We will walk it and agree the scope in writing.
